Hot Off the Press: Pops of Purple

Typically, save the dates are a chance for an engaged couple to be a little more creative and a little less traditional than when designing the formal invitation. It’s also the first glimpse of the wedding that the guests get to experience so it’s a chance to excite people about attending!  Today we’re featuring this gorgeous save the date from Spark Letterpress. Such a clean, fun and festive look!

Budget Tip: Two shades of purple for the price of one! By using colored cardstock, the finished product achieves the feel of a two color save the date. Easy on the eyes and the budget!

Hot Off the Press: Trifold Save the Date

Hi blog readers!

We want to highlight some of our favorite customized stationery so that you can see examples of the work we do here at 472 West Erie! Save the dates, wedding invitations, baby shower invitations, day of pieces and more!

To start us off, we’ve picked this gorgeous Studio R trifold save the date for a spring wedding. I just love the Southern and romantic images that the couple picked for this piece. Feel free to drop a comment and let us know what you think!

xoxo,
Charlotte

Hot Off the Press: Die Cut Gatefold Invitation

When the bride and groom set-up their initial consultation 8 weeks before the wedding (when invitations are typically sent), it came with good reason… they found their dream venue and decided to have a short engagement (okay, very short) in order to make it happen there!

Needless to say, I was intrigued. We met bright and early the next day, and I screamed (literally) when they told me the name of this dream venue… The Ivy Room… the same place I got married over two years ago.

Moral of the story, I instantly loved them, their story and their fabulous taste in iconic venues. And in two short weeks, Magnificent Milestones, this very organized couple and Spark Stationery pulled off the most gorgeous invitation ever!

Hot Off the Press

We had so much fun creating this rehearsal dinner invitation for our clients! Remember, no matter how formal the wedding invitation, the rehearsal is it’s own separate event… so have fun with it!
